Summer in Santa Fe Travel Study Program

Six exciting courses are offered through OU’s Summer in Santa Fe program. Participants interact with renowned faculty, famous authors, and cultural experts while earning college credit or studying as a special student for educational travel. Participants also experience the cultural heritage of Santa Fe and enjoy exquisite dining, shopping, opera, flamenco and more. In addition, participants will enjoy cultural excursions, the chips and salsa reception and optional morning tai chi.

Nestled at 7,000 feet in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, the charming, timeless and enigmatic Santa Fe, New Mexico, claims a long history of rich cultural heritage. Founded as a capital city in 1607 by Spanish explorers, it was once claimed by the Pueblo Peoples, the Spanish Crown, Mexico, and the Confederacy. Santa Fe is known as the “City Different” because of its unique blend of Spanish history, Native American influences, and contemporary artistic culture.

There’s still time to sign up for this summer.
