New Site Location Accepting Applications for OU Nontraditional Graduate Program
OU Advanced Programs’ newest degree program location, Fort Benning, Georgia, is now accepting applications for the spring. This new site location is currently offering a Master of Human Relations.
Advanced Programs is a program within University of Oklahoma Outreach, and it delivers courses around the world to nontraditional students such as military personnel, civil service personnel, and civilians. These degrees are intended for working adults and are offered in flexible time frames—nights and weekends—over a shorter period than traditional semester-long graduate courses.
“OU Advanced Programs has been proudly serving military personnel and working adults for over 51 years, said Rod Clark, Associate Director, Advanced Programs and Director, North America. “We are extremely excited about opening an office at Ft Benning, Georgia where we are now offering on site masters level classes in Human Relations and Criminal Justice.”
OU’s graduate courses are fully accredited resident degree programs designed to provide up-to-date mid-career training. Courses are delivered worldwide to military personnel, civil service personnel and civilians. Advanced Programs has 24 locations in North America and Europe. OU professors are sent to each site to teach week long intensive courses. Program material and coursework mirror the academic programs taught on the main campus.
